We start with the room, not the product.
DOSI is a surface renovation and cabinetry studio working across the Greater Seattle Area. Our job is to make a home feel brighter and newer — and to do it with the smallest change that actually gets you there.
Why we do it this way
Most renovation advice comes from someone who only sells one thing.
If the only service a company offers is new cabinets, then new cabinets is what you’ll be told you need. That’s not dishonesty exactly — it’s just the only answer they have.
We install architectural film, and we build custom cabinetry. Because we do both, we have no reason to push you toward the expensive one. So we don’t. We look at the boxes, tell you whether they’re worth keeping, and recommend the level of work the room actually justifies — frequently the cheaper one.
Change what you see
The surface is what makes a room feel dated, and the surface is almost always fixable on its own.
Build when it’s needed
When the layout or the storage genuinely has to change, we design and build new cabinetry properly, with the same care.
Take only what you need
One vanity. One island. The door frames on a landing. Small scopes are real work here, quoted honestly.
